I have worked for Futuvision Media since the beginning of 2006. My main job is to write material for our English-language website, but I also contribute to the Finnish and French websites as well. In my work I have also been given the privilege to develop skills as a radio voice for Radio86.

I could say that I am in my dream job. Where else does one get everyday the chance to learn new, fascinating things about a captivating country like China! I have always yearned to travel, meet people from around the world and learn about foreign cultures, and now I am very lucky to be able to do all that through my work.

In my private life I am a mother of two kindergarten-aged children. Before settling back in my original hometown of Tampere in Finland, I spent 7 years in the United States, where I completed high school. I pursued my studies at the University of Tampere and earned a master's degree in the French language.

I think that I am where I am today because of my fondness for foreign cultures and languages - and an open mind.
