Goodbye, my pretty long hair

Beijing is getting colder and colder nowadays, and the air is very dry. I have to wear a lot of clothes to keep warm. But there is a problem---I can’t protect my long hair! I used the hair mask everyday and put on my hat when I am outside. But my hair is still pretty dry. I have to spend so much time to make it look better.

Chinese people like to say, “It will never trouble you if you can’t see it!” It sounds like a little bit negative, and it’s really a good idea sometimes! I am going to say goodbye to my long hair

When I told my friseur to cut my hair, he had a startled look on his face. I totally understand his reaction for my only require to my hair style before is don’t cut it too short. I treasure my hair so much, and I have kept this length for almost ten years.
But this time, I really made up my mind.

I can’t remember the process so clearly, because it is too complicated. It took me 4 hours to cut, permed, and dyed my hair. When my husband came to the salon to pick me home, he got very surprised. I didn’t tell him that I would cut my hair pretty short before he arrived.

We need some surprise in our life, right?

My new hair style also “dropped a bomb” in my school. But most of the response from my colleagues and students are very good. I like it too. It makes my feel very relaxed and fresh. What do you think about it?
