8th Oct, my cousin’s wedding was held in a beautiful private villa. That was a special wedding ceremony. No wedding dress, no formal clothes, the bride, bride groom and all guests were wearing jeans. We called the wedding a jeans wedding party.

Our family members got to the villa in the early morning, so we had enough time to walk around and take photos before the wedding. The scenery through the windows was very beautiful. The large green endless lawn behind the villa can really purify our mind. We were running, chasing each other and got a lot of fun there.

According to the Chinese traditional almanac, the wedding began at the Lucky Hour. Chinese people believe that the Lucky Hour can bring us good luck and make everything wonderful. Lucky Hour is every important!

As in other weddings, the new couple also prepared the wedding cakes and champagne tower, but the difference was that they invited the young couple who were present at the wedding to pour the champagne and cut the wedding cake!

After the romantic wedding vow, they should drink the Jiao Bei Jiu (交杯酒) together. Jiao Bei Jiu is a unique Chinese tradition. The new couple should cross their arms and drink their champagne together. That means that they will make a family and nothing can separate them. Of course, I still join this meaningful process in a different way. We didn’t only cross our arms, we hugged each other and drunk the champagne. It was a little bit difficult for my husband and I are both over weight :)

The jeans wedding party was ended in the happiness and laughing. All of us enjoyed it so much and had a unforgettable memory.
