All over the town there are road works. You stop and wait in a queue whilst traffic from the opposite direction is allowed through. The stream of cars, vans and motorbikes just keeps flowing, yet you are on the side that is not moving and staying stuck. Progress seems halted this month. Add to his the frustration of watching others move along as you sit behind the wheel and wait. When will they switch over the lights from red to green? Has the circuitry got stuck so it doesn’t switch over to allow you to glide past the cones and barriers and the sound of the drills breaking up the tarmac? Fear not, it will be your wheels that are going around soon and moving you forwards. Sometimes, you need to sit still for a while and Rats prefer to be on the go rather than sitting around doing nothing. Yet the doing nothing is often the key to getting something done, for in that space of momentary emptiness answers to questions you have been asking for some time can emerge. If circumstances oblige you to sit and wait a while, see it as an opportunity for the universe to reveal a nugget of knowledge that might otherwise remain buried.
