January 2010 forecast for Ox

Rather than focus on what efforts have been thwarted this past year by wishing you had done some things differently, wishing you had not done certain things and lamenting over what you missed, pay some attention to what went right. Whether your achievements were big or small there was something for you to feel proud about when you look back over Ox year. If you admire the image that shines back at you and set out to find all that is adorable, eventually you will. This month you are meeting your own animal month at the end of your own animal year. This is the time to see the reflection in the mirror behind you reflected in the mirror in front of you. Avoid over-examining yourself for then it could become like a house of mirrors at the fairground and you will make yourself look out of shape. Find all the positive aspects in your self-image and give yourself lots of credit.

There are not always reasons when it comes to matters of the heart so asking ‘why?’ will not necessarily lead you to an answer. If your relationship is working there is no need to try to take it apart. If the course of true love is not running smoothly, oil the wheels with some kind words and patience rather than trying to dismantle what you have.

Career

If you feel ready to take on some new and exciting assignments then make your availability known in both obvious and subtle ways. Tying up loose ends and clearing your desk might appear to be chore but it will bring rewards in wrapping up the old to make space for the new. Clear some space physically and metaphorically in time for the new moon on the 16th.

For more profitable times ahead, look into ways that you can make your cash work smarter as well as harder. If you haven’t got round to getting yourself the best deals for borrowings or savings, this is the month to take control of your cashflow rather than let it run away from you in any direction.
