If it is your job to lead and fill roles with suitable employees, do not be swayed by what people think they should be doing, go with what you know they can do best. If you are on the team, accept the role and give it your best shot.

First do your financial homework. Pay the bills or earmark funds to do so. With all the essential costs of living accounted for, you can now have a really good idea of what you have left over to play with. Don’t be tempted to go out with the plastic and do your sums later.
