Chaos settles into stability during this Dog month. Whilst most people would breathe a sigh of relief, stretch up high and sit down, you start to feel a bit bored. Having got used to the thrilling feeling of anything could happen next, when faced with the prospect of predictable events, you find it hard to enjoy the luxury of constancy.
Instead of stirring up the calm waters to make big splashy waves, watch the falling leaves blow onto the pond. Stand back and observe what is going on and eventually you will begin to see that things can still happen without a lot of surrounding drama. If you really must find some excitement, then leave what is stable just as it is and find a new mountain to climb. Seek out something a bit unusual to stimulate your senses. If there is somewhere or something you have always been a bit curious about, but which you didn’t think was quite your cup of tea, why not try it now to see if it is for you? You don’t have to drink the whole cup, give it a stir and take a tiny sip to taste.
Love
Being honest need not mean being hurtful. Saying you were only being honest will not endear you to your beloved after you have cut them up with some sharp criticism. If you have hurt your sweetheart’s feelings do something romantic to make up and say some honest things that are nice too!
Career
Mentors and colleagues might not accept your new ideas straight away. Be persuasive by all means, and seek to understand how their minds work in order to find a convincing way to put across your plans and strategies. A quietly determined approach will work much better than a forceful one.
Money
If you come across a new money-making idea that seems like an easy fish to catch, you need to check the size of the holes in your net. Other people might be using a finer net than yours which will bring in the catch more easily. A fish or two could slip through your net if you are fishing in unfamiliar waters.
