June forecast for Monkey

You prefer being in the driver’s seat to being in the passenger’s. Horse month drops you in the passenger’s seat from time to time and you do not really like it. You like it less when you find yourself in the rear passenger seat. Never mind, at least you can tell the driver about the best short-cut. Hang on though, you don’t recognise the road and the signs all point to places you have not heard of before. How can you tell the driver about the best route to go if you are trundling along an unfamiliar track? Maybe, you need to accept that you are not steering, not changing gear, not speeding up or slowing down. Someone else is driving, you are not in control of the vehicle, yet you will still arrive at your destination. Like an impatient child on a first time journey, you want to ask ‘Are we there yet?’ Relinquishing control does not come naturally to the typical Monkey. Whilst being charge is something you do well, it will work out better than you expected when you trust those that are know what they are doing and where they are going.

Love
You might not be keen on the idea to begin with, but a blind date could turn out to be a lot of fun for a solo Monkey. If you are in a couple, and your partner does not spring a summer surprise for you, why not plan something special as a surprise. Make the most of the romantic full moon on the 7th.

Career
When dealing with the fragile egos of those who hold power, not showing how brilliantly clever you are could turn out to be a very smart move. You may have figured out their motivations, but there is no need to let on that you know. Let the powers that be feel they are in charge.

Money
Make any spare cash work a bit harder at accumulating this month. Be aware of any changes to terms and conditions that do not work in your favour. If necessary, switch funds around to ensure you get the maximum benefit. Putting a bit more away for a rainy day is no bad thing.
