Has the recent violence divided Urumqi along ethnic lines?
A divided Xinjiang?
July 5 has become another one of those dates that have been burned into Chinese consciousness. On that day, people not just in China but around the world will remember that 156 people lost their lives in violent riots in Urumqi. Has Xinjiang truly been divided along ethnic lines?
