World-famous Chinese violinist Xie Nan performed last night in the city of Kuopio in Finland.
The sold-out concert was staged in conjunction with an event celebrating a two-week photo exhibition on the Shanghai Pudong area at the Kuopio Music Center.
The center's director Michael Claussen told Radio86 that the two events served to highlight the collaboration between the cities of Kuopio and Shanghai.
Xie Nan, who was accompanied by the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra, played the Violin Concerto no 1 by one of her favorite composers Max Bruch.
The Shanghai Pudong photo exhibition will run until October 17.
