Avril Lavigne to tour in China

Canadian pop singer Avril Lavigne will launch a concert tour of China in September, CRI writes, citing a Chinese fan site.
According to information posted on Avrilchina.cn, the tour will kick off on September 26 in Macao, with subsequent concerts in Shenzhen (Sept. 28), Chengdu (Sept. 30), Lijiang (Oct. 2), Shanghai (Oct. 4) and Beijing (Oct. 6).
The young pop icon performed in Shanghai and Hong Kong in August of last year. Tickets for the upcoming shows will be available soon.
Although the China tour has not been listed on Lavigne's official website, the shows have been confirmed by the Ministry of Culture, CRI says.
