Jackie Chan's career chronicled in museum

Fans of action movies will soon be able plunge into the world of Chinese kung fu hero Jackie Chan in a museum dedicated to his career to be opened in Shanghai.

The Jackie Chan Museum will display memorabilia tracing the career of this world-renowned star from his early days in Hong Kong to his big success in Hollywood.

The collection will also include a number of movie awards received by Chan and a wide array of costumes and props from some of his most famous movies.

The 3,100-square meter museum will be housed in a renovated factory building and is set to to open in October 2009 after renovation work at the site is completed.
