China's third largest airline China Southern has announced it wants to hire one hundred of the 250 volunteers who served as ceremony hostesses at the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games, CRI reports. The top hostesses will be trained to work as stewardesses on the Guangzhou-based company's flight routes.

HNA Group has said its subsidiaries Grand China Air and Hainan Airlines Company Limited would also be ready to recruit one hundred of the hostesses. Additional posts are also available in the Group's management and finance departments.

According to the airlines, the job offers have been made in recognition of the excellent work of the charming volunteers at the Olympic ceremonies.

After training, the new flight attendants will be based either in Beijing or Guangzhou, according to CRI.

The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games (BOCOG) recruited over 100,000 volunteers to provide assistance to tourists at the sports venues, media centers and the Olympic village during the Games. In addition, over 400,000 people offered information and translation services at 550 volunteer stations around the city.
